Bruce Brandon played soccer at Carson-Newman, and after leaving, learned carpentry and modular systems trades. Moving to New Jersey in the late 1970s, he began working with leather and excelling in shoe repair. In 1981, he acquired the service account for Church’s English Shoes on Madison Avenue in New York City. In 1996, he graduated with a BA in Management from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. In 1997, he was appointed Executive Director of Cumberland Good Samaritans, in Crossville, Tennessee. Then, in 2012, he served as Software Trainer for SIL International and in 2018 began working as a Business Analyst for JAARS, Inc.
Bruce and his wife, Denise currently live in Knoxville, where they are active in their church. Bruce also plays bass guitar and teaches English to refugee immigrants.
